By Way of Introductions

Bodhi and his parents hands

At 1:55 AM on Sunday, March 16th, we welcomed Bodhi Frederick Bykowski into the world at Fairview Hospital. The fun started at 2:00 AM on Saturday with a quick trip to the hospital. They kept us there after the first exam and it was almost exactly 24 hours later that he finally made his debut.

Bodhi (pronounced bó - dee) weighed in at 6 lbs and 13 oz and was 18 and ½ inches long. He scored a 9 on the APGAR scale and showed off his powerful lungs as he was given to Mom to hold for the first time.

Bodhi came home after three nights in the hospital and has been doing great ever since! At his one month birthday, he's up to more than 7 lbs. He's lively, with a dynamic personality and oh, so cute!
